Job Description

Responsible for development, analysis, and production support of PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) (HCMS) and related modules providing enterprise-wide PeopleSoft HR and Benefits technical support and consultation. This position will primarily focus on the technical view of the HCM application with emphasis on software development, but also includes functional responsibilities with respect to the Software Development Life cycle. The role entails the analysis of the impact, implications, and functional benefit to the production system including enhancements, configuration changes, and customizations. Business stakeholder interactions are an inherent part of this position.

Requirements

Education and/or Experience

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or HR
  • Eight years PeopleSoft experience in HCM environments
  • Eight years business systems experience
  • Eight years PeopleSoft programming/technical experience including use of Application Designer, Application Engine, PeopleCode, Application Package, SQR, and SQL

Required

  • Knowledge of the PeopleSoft system at senior level, including multi-job maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM, Benefits, Position Management, Talent Acquisition manager, and Employee and Manager Self-Service.
  • Working knowledge of Integration Broker and Reporting Tools such as XML Publisher, Crystal Reports, and SQR.
  • A solid understanding of PeopleSoft web based architecture and desktop troubleshooting.
  • Ability to think analytically, manage change, and participate in multi-directional communication.
  • Ability to clearly document and effectively communicate complex HCM design and functionality to management and customers.
  • Must be willing to assist others, learn new skills, and participate in a productive team oriented environment.
