Position Summary
In the senior-level JD Edwards analyst role, your primary focus will be technical. You will provide internal business systems analysis support. You must have the ability to write programs and modifications, which will require thorough testing prior to installing in production. As well, the JD Edwards Sr. Programmer Analyst will ensure that all established change management procedures are followed.

Responsibilities
Your role will include internal consulting and project management to the business, identifying feasible technical alternatives, and monitoring projects to ensure the projects are aligned with the company’s strategic plan. It will be imperative that you keep abreast of changes and enhancements to business systems associated with your area of responsibility. As a senior business system analyst, you are also expected to mentor others. Supervision is neither required nor excluded from this job. You must have the ability to work independently without direct supervision. The role reports to the Senior IT Manager of Applications.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Analysis

• Communicate and interface with user or business owner to determine and design programmatic solutions for business needs.
• Monitor project development and ensure projects tie in with strategic plan.
• Help identify feasible technical alternatives for business solutions.
• Ensure projects are tested thoroughly developer and user prior to installing in production environment.
• Provide support programming for team if needed.

Development

• JD Edwards 8.0-1.12 tool set required. Other programming languages (RPG 400, C++, Java) a plus
• Management – Lead projects as requested
• Help establish audits
• Participate on major projects

Training

• Stay current on company’s business systems and applications related to assigned area of responsibility, schedule and accomplish personal training requirements and needs
• Stay current on new and emerging technologies

REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience

•  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, including an associate degree from an accredited technical institute required.

• Proven track record of continued growth in IT and recognized as a leader by peers and superiors.
• Evidence of continued growth in personal areas and technical knowledge through job experience, technical certifications, independent course work, and application-specific seminars.

Functional and Technical Skills Development

• JD Edwards Enterprise One tool set 8.0 and-8.12 tool set running on a DB2 environment (iSeries – Citrix – HTML Enterprise – Client Servers) required
• Other programming languages a plus: RPG 400, C++, Java
• Technical support to financial interfaces with 3rd party vendors

Finance & Accounting modules

• AR, AP, GL, MFG Accounting, Costing, Address Book, Credit Management, Install Base.

As the SAP FI-CO Manager, you will drive development and integration of customer-focused business applications. As the Lead Environmental Health and Safety Management functional support leader, you will  focus on the SAP Environmental, Health &Safety Management (EHSM) module.  Using your business process knowledge, experience and training, you will:

• Provide day-to-day support for our multi-plant user community.
